Walk In Stuck. Walk Out Decided.
A private advisory engagement built around the decision you need to see clearly.
You make decisions all day. This one is different.
As an entrepreneur, CEO, or leader, you are used to deciding, deliberately, and often quickly. But there is one decision you keep returning to. Maybe you've been carrying it for a while now.
You'd call yourself a good decision maker, and normally, you are. But on this one:
- You keep postponing it, while everything else moves forward.
- The thinking itself has stopped helping.
- It might even keep you up some nights.
There's a particular kind of tired that comes from carrying a decision instead of making it. Not physically tired. Tired of thinking about the same thing from every angle and still not landing anywhere. Not because you lack the facts, but because somewhere along the way, you lost the sharpness to decide in a way you would still stand behind.
Not because you suddenly became bad at making decisions. Because you are standing inside the situation you are trying to see clearly.
Proximity changes what you can see. The closer you are to a decision — especially when your business, money, family, relationships or future are tied to it — the harder it becomes to separate what matters from everything surrounding it.
That is why thinking harder often stops helping. What you need is distance.
I understand that. In your position, the stakes are often high, and there is rarely a place to think completely freely with someone who understands what is actually at stake. The people around you rarely offer a clean perspective:
- They have not stood in your shoes.
- Some do not have the full picture.
- Others, however well-intentioned, carry an interest of their own, or see the situation only from their own vantage point, your advisors among them.
What you need instead is sharpness. A place to think it through without an agenda attached to the outcome, to let the fog clear, and to find your way back to a decision you feel behind, so you can move forward.
This is not only something I needed myself. Over time, I noticed the same pattern with my clients. They would reach out in exactly this kind of moment, carrying a decision they couldn't quite move through alone, and afterward, I heard the same thing again and again:
"After talking to you, I know exactly what I want, what I need to do, and I can move forward."
What changed was not that I gave them the answer. They had a place to think out loud, confidentially, without judgement and without an agenda attached to the outcome. And very often, somewhere in that process, their own sharpness returned.
Patterns became visible. Blind spots surfaced. Things they had been looking at separately suddenly made sense as part of a bigger picture. Sometimes they saw their existing options differently. Sometimes another possibility appeared. And often, the answer they had been trying to force was already there — they simply needed enough distance to see it.
That is usually the point where the fog starts to clear. You stop circling the same decision and start seeing what actually matters, what you are willing to accept, what you are not, and what each direction could set in motion.
Right now, this decision follows you into meetings, into evenings, into the moments you're supposed to be somewhere else entirely. After this, it doesn't.
"In complex governance processes, Daniëlla consistently brought calm and clarity at the moments that mattered most. Even in the absence of clear guidelines, she found direction with independence, care and conviction. In the many confidential integrity conversations she guided with board members, she created an environment where people felt safe to speak completely openly. That combination of professionalism, independence and humanity is what made her invaluable."

Chairman, Rijn en IJssel Regional Water Authority · President, EUWMA · Chair, Blue Deal Netherlands-South Africa · Chair of the Supervisory Board, Zorggroep Solis
"Daniëlla combines expertise with reliability and a strong sense of responsibility. She brings clarity to complex issues, communicates clearly and is an advisor I recommend without any hesitation."

A decision that still makes sense years from now.
This will not hand you certainty. No honest advisory process can. What it gives you is the clarity to choose, knowing you didn't look away from anything that mattered.
You leave with the whole picture back in view: what to do, and the confidence to actually do it. Maybe that means:
- Finally making the call you've been putting off.
- Walking into the next board meeting already decided.
- Telling your partner what you've actually been carrying.
For most people, there is a point in this process where the fog actually lifts and movement becomes possible again. The weight comes off your shoulders. What used to sit in the back of your mind, unresolved, quietly taking up space in your calendar and your attention, finally lifts. Doors that felt closed while this was unresolved tend to open again, simply because you're no longer carrying it. The relief isn't just practical. It's the quiet feeling of finally exhaling on something you didn't realize you'd been holding your breath over.
You walk out holding the decision. Not me.
"Daniëlla is a rare gem in a tough world. She combines sharp thinking with genuine attention for the person behind the entrepreneur. With her, I never feel judged on my title, my money or my results, only truly seen. That makes every conversation with her exceptionally valuable."
Sander Aelberts
Owner-Director, Adaptation B.V.
"Whenever I need to think something through, talk it out or simply gain some distance from a situation, I call Daniëlla. Whether it's about my business or my personal life, a single conversation with her often gives me more than months with other advisors. She understands me both as a person and as an entrepreneur, asks the right questions and brings clarity exactly when I've lost sight of it myself."

My name is mr. Daniëlla Eikmans van Dorst.
No consequential decision ever stands alone. It belongs to a larger architecture, whether that architecture is visible before the decision is made, or only afterwards.
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family and saw early on how deeply a business can shape the life around it: family relationships, succession, the next generation, and the identity of the person who built it.
For more than fifteen years, I went on to experience that world from different sides of the table. I founded and led two law firms and advised entrepreneurs, CEOs, and senior public leaders as a business lawyer specialising in business law, contracts, and liability. Much of that work took place in boardrooms and other rooms where consequential decisions were being considered, risks assessed, and different paths weighed.
As a specialised business and government mediator, I learned to recognise the interests, relationships, and underlying dynamics that influence decisions long before their consequences become visible. My work in international private law and matrimonial property law, including as an international family and divorce mediator for entrepreneurs and families with substantial business and financial interests, showed me what happens when business, ownership, wealth, relationships, and family become impossible to separate.
Those experiences taught me to look beyond the question being asked. To understand the wider context it belongs to, the risks and dynamics already in motion, what may otherwise remain unseen, and what each possible decision could set in motion.
That is the perspective I bring to New Paradigm CEO™, and to every Private Decision Advisory.
My responsibility is to bring the clarity, context, and perspective that allow you to make your decision with the fullest possible understanding of what it may set in motion, and to stand behind that decision years from now.
"Daniëlla has been my trusted advisor since I founded my company. Over the years, she has guided me through a wide range of both business and personal issues. Her expertise, clear communication and genuine involvement make her an advisor I trust completely."

A complete engagement, built around one question.
I. The Briefing
Beforehand, you share a confidential briefing that outlines the situation, its background, and what is currently at stake. This allows me to prepare properly before we speak, so no time is lost getting oriented.
II. The Conversation
We then meet for a 90-minute confidential conversation, focused entirely on the question you bring. This conversation can be conducted in English or Dutch.
This is designed as an online engagement. In-person advisory can be arranged on request, either at an agreed location or with me travelling to you. Additional fees and travel expenses apply.
III. The Advisory Note
Following our conversation, you receive a Private Advisory Note: a concise, one- to two-page written perspective revealing how I see the central question, what I believe has not yet been fully weighed, the key tensions and trade-offs at play, and what deserves to be resolved before a decision is made.
IV. The Interval
What follows is a 7 to 10 day interval, deliberately built into the process, so the conversation and the note have time to settle before we return to them.
V. The Follow-Up
We close with a 30-minute private follow-up, held online or by phone — whichever you prefer — to discuss what has shifted, what has become clearer, and where the decision stands now.
If, after your briefing, this doesn't feel like the right fit on either side, I won't take it further. My aim is that you leave any engagement with me in a better position than when you first reached out, and that only happens when the fit is right from the start.
I bring fifteen years of experience advising entrepreneurs, CEOs, and leaders at moments when the stakes were real, in business, in legal matters, and in personal ones, as a lawyer, mediator, and private advisor. I don't only hear what's said. I notice what isn't. I understand which interests are at play and how they influence each other, and I recognize patterns, a proven ability to see what's underneath a decision before you say it out loud.
The value isn't in any one part of this engagement. It is in the combination: coming in prepared, thinking deeply together, capturing what becomes visible, and returning to the decision after you've had time to step away from it.
The entire engagement is built around one thing: helping you move through the decision you're carrying with greater clarity, perspective and confidence in what comes next.
"Daniëlla has a gift for quickly identifying what truly matters in complex situations. She spots connections others miss, thinks strategically ahead and translates complicated issues into clear choices. Her combination of insight, expertise, humour and genuine involvement makes her an exceptional advisor."
Kees Fijnant

Built for reflection. Not for research.
Private Decision Advisory is a focused engagement for a decision that can be meaningfully worked through without extensive external research or a longer advisory process.
It is designed for reflection, perspective and judgement — not for situations that first require extensive research, due diligence or weeks of investigation. A business sale, full succession process or ownership restructuring as a whole belongs in a broader Private Advisory Relationship.
There is no payment upfront. If you're unsure yourself whether your question fits this format, you're welcome to call or email me beforehand and ask.
Once you submit your request:
- I read what you bring with exactly this in mind.
- If I believe a different approach would serve you better, I'll propose that instead.
- Once we agree to proceed, you'll receive a payment link or invoice, whichever you prefer, to be settled before the engagement begins.
- You'll get access to my calendar to schedule the 90-minute advisory conversation.
Occasionally, the engagement reveals that the situation runs deeper than the original question suggested. If that happens, I'll offer you a tailored proposal to continue, at additional cost.
Handled personally, never delegated.
Everything you share before, during, and after this engagement is treated as strictly confidential. The work is conducted directly with me and is never delegated. Every engagement is governed by a client agreement that includes a formal confidentiality and non-disclosure provision, so this is not only a promise, it is contractually secured.
"During the transfer of our business to the next generation, it wasn't just commercial interests at stake, but also family relationships and the future of the company. Daniëlla brought calm, clarity and an independent perspective during a period when emotions and responsibilities were closely intertwined. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to make well-considered decisions, restore relationships within the family and bring the transfer to a careful close."
